Emily came on board with Complete ABA in December 2017. She graduated from University of South Carolina in 2016 with her Bachelor's degree in Experimental Psychology. Here she learned about ABA professionally, but grew a personal interest in the field when she was a nanny for child on the Autism Spectrum who received ABA. Emily attended daily ABA sessions and her passion began. She was previously an infant preschool teacher as well. Emily loves spending time with her dog and enjoying the outdoors.
Kerby started her work with individuals with autism in 2013 when she completed an ABA instructor internship. During this time, Kerby realized her love for the field and decided to pursue a career in Applied Behavior Analysis. She served as a Registered Behavior Technician from 2015-2017 where she worked providing direct instruction in ABA with a focus on behavior reduction, functional language training, and natural environment teaching. Kerby completed her Masters of Education with a concentration in ABA in 2017 from Endicott College. She became certified as a BCBA in 2017. Kerby joined the Complete ABA team in August 2017. She is originally from Connecticut, but much prefers the Charlotte winters. Kerby got married in June 2018 and is enjoying time in her new house in Charlotte.
Ashley Chastain started working with children with disabilities in 2003. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education in 2007 from Elon University. Ashley taught general education for three years before switching fields and becoming a tutor for applied behavior analysis programs in 2010. Ashley completed her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in early childhood education from Winthrop University in 2011. In 2012, Ashley completed her graduate degree from Penn State University in Applied Behavior Analysis. Ashley worked as a one-on-one instructor for two years before becoming a BCBA in 2012. She has expertise in the areas of verbal behavior, potty training, and problem behavior reduction. In her free time, Ashley likes to run and spend time with her two children, husband, and their dog. Ashley is a proud owner of Complete ABA.
Tracy started working with individuals with disabilities in 2000. During this time she was a camp counselor for children with special needs. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Carolina in 2010. She went on to receive her Masters of Education in Special Education with an emphasis in severe and multiple disabilities in 2011. During this time, Tracy also fulfilled all coursework in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis. As a part of her supervised independent fieldwork, Tracy spent a great deal of time with teens and adults with Autism and special needs. In 2012, Tracy became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She started practicing as a BCBA is 2012. Tracy has worked with client ages 2-21, and has expertise in the areas of functional daily living, problem behavior reduction, and working with adolesents and adults with Autism. In her spare time, Tracy likes to run and play with her dog Phoebe. She is engaged and has set a date for April 2019! Tracy is a proud owner of Complete ABA.
At Complete ABA, we believe a strong foundation is the key to building quality, functional ABA programs. Our staff is comprised of three Board Certified Behavior Analysts, BCBA, one Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, BCaBA, two Registered Behavior Technicians, RBTs, and one Behavior Technician. Each member of our team has expertise in the field of ABA and Autism. Each program is directed by a BCBA, and can also include an RBT for direct instruction. Our staff abides by all ethical codes and supervision guidelines as prescribed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, and can be found on their registry at www.bacb.com.
Carrie joined our team in October 2017. Carrie graduated from University of Minnesota in December 2014 with a degree in Family Social Science. She has been working with individuals with Autism since 2014 and was credentialed as an Registered Behavior Technician in 2016. Carrie began her Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018. She is originally from Wisconsin and is a huge Packers fan. She is an animal lover and has a dog, cat, and a bird! In her spare time, Carrie enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
Jenna started working with individuals with disabilities in 2011. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/Applied Behavioral Science at the University of Kansas in 2015. While at KU, Jenna spent most of her time in the behavioral research labs on campus including the Kansas Early Autism Program (KEAP). In the KEAP lab, Jenna worked on training children with autism to comply with healthcare routines like dental visits and haircuts. In 2017, Jenna became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). She went on to receive her Masters of Psychology/Professional Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2018. Jenna has interests in the areas of functional daily living, problem behavior reduction, and increasing compliance with healthcare routines. In her spare time, Jenna likes to spend time with her husband and three dogs.
